A word I learned the full meaning of when my linesisters and I crossed into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated , 2 years ago on November 24th 2013.
Now 2 years latter , I speak in WE’s.
We graduated
We got a job
We fell in love
We got promoted
We got our own place
We got our own place
We are getting our masters .
We are engaged ….. Well not yet lol

Introduced to one another by our 20 most gracious founders of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and our 16 lovely charter members of our chapter Lambda Beta.
WE….
Are bonded !
By the love of sisterhood and service to ALL man kind.
Hand in hand working to promote unity and friendship among college women and to alleviate problems concerning girls and women.
No matter what hardships may come our way, I pray to be able to serve and fellowship with you all until we are ivies beyond the wall.
To my sisters, all I want to say is…….
Thank you for being here , thank you for being near .
I wish us many more years of laughter , arguments , tears , hugs, love and pink and green pleasantries.
So yes , back to the question , why sisterhood ?
