It is a surreal feeling when your friends begin to get married.
This past weekend a good friend of ours celebrated her engagement to her fiancé with all of her “girls”.
The theme for her bridal shower was centered on spring, a ‘Spring Of Love Garden Bridal Shower Poppy Edition’!
All guests were encouraged to keep within the theme of the festivities by wearing floral pieces or any spring color attire with floral headbands. So of course you know my sister and I had a ball coming up with creative ideas that would fit the theme but would still express our personal styles.
The bridal shower was no secret but the theme and location was hidden from the future bride, Think Poppy, hence the bridal shower Hashtag #ThinkPoppyEdition. Lola even had her own snap chat filter! Which was pretty cool… lol.
Lola’s friends, bridesmaids and maid of honor really went above and beyond for her in order to create the perfect Pinterest like atmosphere. It was so magical.
When we walked into the venue, my sister and I were shocked by how enchanting and magical the space was. It was as if we had stepped into another world.
From the bridal shower games, to the 3 course meal with menu options, the entire event was magical from beginning to end.
We laughed, cried, prayed and sang together and even caught up with old friends. By the time the bridal shower was over we even made a few new acquaintances.
All in All, we were filled with joy to experience such a loving event but more so happy to witness the union of two families coming to together under Christ for Love.
