New Year Old Habits

Happy 2017!

It’s the first Friday of the 2017 and we’ve already broken some of our New Year goals. On Monday when we shared our blogpost ‘This is A New Year’ about new year, new vibes.

But of course, some of our resolutions have already been broken. On that very same Monday, January 2nd we found ourselves in line at Starbucks, waiting for our upside down caramel macchiato (don’t forget the whip cream).

We said we wanted to be more disciplined and strong willed like God but…. we have already slipped up on some of our new year goals, like giving Starbucks less of our hard-earned coins. LOL!

Have you broken any new year’s resolutions yet? If so, think about getting an accountable partner (that won’t enable you) or someone who encourages you drink less Starbucks coffee and more green tea. But don’t worry it’s only the first week.

Sigh, the first week of the new year can really be stressful but it helps to hold yourself accountable with a friend. Luckily my sister and I have each other for that.

We are excited about a fresh start. It sets the tone for the new year because that is what the new year brings…a new beginning.
